It has been quite some time since I last did a challenge here on my blog. I really enjoying doing minimalism challenges from time to time to spice things up a bit. When I feel a lack of inspiration to declutter, a challenge can motivate me to get things done.
I've told you before that I would like to own even fewer clothes. However, I'm not going to get rid of something just to get rid of it. If I use it, I will keep it until it can't be worn anymore. I believe that there might be some pieces in my wardrobe that I don't use, so this challenge will show me what clothes I actually wear and not wear. I will share the challenge with you, so that you can do it yourself if you'd like.
In short, the challenge consists of two things;
- Document your outfits.
- Try to use every piece of clothing that you have, so you know if you like the piece or not.
By doing this, you will see which pieces in your wardrobe you use and not use. If I find it hard to keep track of my clothes, which I've worn and not, I sometimes put the clothes that I've worn (and washed) in another place than the rest of my clothes. This way I can see the pieces left in the closet and decide if I want to keep them or not.
From now on, I will try to document every single outfit that I wear, tell you about the pieces and share with you how it's going. I get a lot of questions redarding how many pieces of clothing I own, and I honestly don't know. This way, we will find it out together. If you choose to join me in this challenge, please tell me in the comments how it's going!
